Dr. Steven A. Freeman is a native of Omaha.  He is a graduate of Westside High School, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.  Dr. Freeman's Internal Medicine residency was done in Chicago at Loyola University Medical Center.  He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Freeman moved back to Omaha Nebraska in 1987, and has been in private practice since that time.  He is married and has 5 children.  Dr. Freeman is active with his family and church.  His hobbies include woodworking and hunting.  He has also sung for several seasons with the Nebraska Choral Arts Society Masterworks chorus.

Dr. Douglas A. Russell  grew up in Omaha.   graduate of  the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.  Dr. Russell's Internal Medicine residency was done at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Russell moved back to Omaha in 1995 and has been in private practice since then.  Dr. Russell is married and has 1 son. He enjoys golf, Nebraska football and baseball, and coaching his son in his many activities. 

BJ Schrad PA-C graduated from  the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistants Program. BJ is certified by the NCCPA. She has five years experience as a Physican Assistant with three years in Internal Medicine.

BJ is married and has two daughters. She enjoys fitness, skiing, golf and family activities. We believe you will find BJ competent, compassionate and attentive to your needs.  She is looking forward to meeting all the patients of Oakview Internal Medicine.
